Baldwin Wallace University track and field head coach Matthew Cole is pleased to announce that 14 student-athletes have selected BW to continue men's track and field careers.
More than 600 students earned endowed scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. BW has a long history of endowed scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. More than 385 named scholarships provide over $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. Endowed scholarships vary in their requirements with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

BW student vocalists and orchestra members performed the opera "Dialogues of the Carmelites" during the spring semester. Francis Poulenc's fictionalized portrayal of the Martyrs of Compiegne tells the timely and tragic story of Carmelite nuns who were guillotined in Paris for refusing to renounce their vocation during the French Revolution's Reign of Terror.
Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement, showcased student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event of the 10-day festival was the Day of Excellence, which featured exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, exhibits, live presentations and performances.
Twenty-two BW students participated in the "Discovering India" program, a transformative experience in Bangalore, New Delhi and Agra, during the fall 2016 semester. The program provides an in-depth understanding of India's culture, social institutions and business environment through a semester of study and preparation in the classroom before traveling to India for hands-on experiences.

When the Republican National Convention (RNC) came to Cleveland, a select group of Baldwin Wallace University students took full advantage of the event as a living, breathing classroom. Students participated in The Washington Center Academic Seminar, took on RNC internships, got involved as honorary delegates and earned credit as they witnessed American political history in the making.

Each year, UA's Department of Student Life service office, serveAkron, organizes the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program. More than ninety Zips volunteered during the week of Spring Break, March 21-25, 2016, with three diverse non-profit organizations in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. In all, these volunteers dedicated 3,056 hours to making a difference.
